Calculator lead integrations for your business tools

Calculator lead integrations decide what happens after a visitor asks you to get in touch. Every lead lands in a built-in CRM and can trigger an email notification. On plans with webhooks, each lead is also sent as JSON to any address you choose, so it can reach HighLevel, automation tools such as Zapier or Make, or your own systems, with the calculator inputs and results attached.

Where do calculator leads go?

Every lead is saved to the built-in CRM, and you can get an email notification for each one. On plans with webhooks, the lead is also sent as a JSON payload to a URL you set, such as an inbound webhook in HighLevel or a catch-hook URL in Zapier or Make.

Where can a lead go?

Built-in CRM

Every lead is stored with its contact details, calculator, inputs, results and source page, so you can follow up without any setup.

Email notifications

Get an email when a new lead arrives, with the key details in the message.

Webhooks

Send each lead as JSON to any HTTPS address. This is the route into almost any other system. Included on the Branch and Institution plans.

HighLevel

Point the webhook at an inbound webhook trigger in a HighLevel workflow, then map the fields to a contact and start your follow-up.

Zapier and Make

Create a catch-hook URL in Zapier or a custom webhook in Make, paste it as your webhook address, and route leads to spreadsheets, CRMs or messaging tools.

What is in the webhook payload?

Each lead is sent as one JSON object. Send a test lead to see the exact field names; these are the groups of data it contains.

Information included with each calculator lead
DataWhat it contains
Contact detailsName, email and phone, as the visitor entered them
CalculatorWhich calculator the visitor used
InputsThe values the visitor entered, such as amount, rate and term
ResultsThe figures the calculator showed, such as payment and total interest
Page URLThe address of the page where the lead was submitted
UTM attributionCampaign source, medium, campaign, term and content, when present in the page address
TimestampWhen the lead was submitted

Step by step

How do you connect a webhook?

  1. Create the receiving URL

In your destination tool, create an inbound webhook, catch hook or custom webhook and copy its HTTPS address.

  2. Add it to your account

Paste the address into the webhook settings for your calculators.

  3. Send a test lead

Submit the lead form on one of your embedded calculators to send a sample payload.

  4. Map the fields

In your destination tool, map name, email, phone and the calculator fields to the places you want them.

  5. Turn on your follow-up

Start the workflow, automation or notification that should run for each new lead.

What should you check before going live?

  • Your privacy policy explains how you use lead details
  • The lead form tells visitors who will contact them
  • The webhook address uses HTTPS
  • A test lead arrived with every field mapped
  • Someone is responsible for following up quickly
  • UTM tags are on the campaign links you want to track

Frequently asked questions

Is there a native HighLevel or Zapier app?

No. Connections work through standard webhooks, which HighLevel, Zapier and Make all accept. You create an inbound webhook or catch-hook URL in the destination tool and paste it into your calculator settings. This keeps setup the same no matter which tool you use.

What format does the webhook use?

Each lead is sent as a single JSON object over HTTPS. It contains the visitor's contact details, the calculator used, its inputs and results, the page URL, any UTM attribution and a timestamp. Send a test lead to see the exact field names before you map them.

Do calculator leads include the visitor's inputs and results?

Yes. That is what makes them useful. You can see, for example, the loan amount, rate and term a visitor tried and the payment they saw, so your follow-up can start from their actual question rather than a blank form.

How does UTM attribution work for calculator leads?

If the page address where the lead was submitted carries UTM parameters, such as a source and campaign, they are included with the lead. Tag the links in your ads and emails with UTM parameters, and each lead will show which campaign brought the visitor.

Can I send leads to more than one tool?

Yes. Send the webhook to an automation tool such as Zapier or Make and fan it out from there to as many destinations as you need. Leads also stay in the built-in CRM regardless of where else they go. That way, a temporary problem in one destination never loses a lead.

Which plans include webhooks?

Webhooks are included on the Branch and Institution plans. The Community plan still stores leads in the built-in CRM. The plans table on our For Businesses page shows current limits. Upgrading adds webhooks without any change to your existing embed snippets. You can then point leads at HighLevel, Zapier, Make or your own endpoint.

What happens if my webhook endpoint is down?

The lead is still saved in the built-in CRM, so nothing is lost. Check that your endpoint address is correct and reachable over HTTPS, then use your destination tool's history to confirm when leads start arriving again. A test lead is the quickest way to confirm the connection works again.

Can I get an email for each new lead without setting up webhooks?

Yes. Email notifications work on their own, with no webhook needed. Each notification includes the key lead details, and the full record, with inputs and results, is in the built-in CRM. Many businesses start with email notifications and add a webhook later, once they know which tool should receive leads.
