In plain English
- Our calculators and guides are for education and give estimates, not offers or guarantees.
- Nothing on the site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
- Figures are in US dollars and example rates are illustrative, so your actual numbers may differ.

Educational information only
CalculateInterestPay provides free calculators and personal-finance guides to help you understand how interest, loans, savings and payments work. Everything on this site is general educational information. It is not financial, investment, credit, tax, accounting or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to take any particular action.
Using the site does not create a client, adviser or fiduciary relationship between you and CalculateInterestPay.
Results are estimates
Calculator results are estimates, not offers, quotes or guarantees. They are based on:
- the numbers and options you enter;
- standard formulas and the assumptions explained on each calculator page;
- rounding to whole cents or dollars, which can create small differences over time.
Your actual costs may differ because of fees, closing costs, points, taxes, insurance, escrow, promotional rates, variable rates, payment timing, compounding methods, credit decisions and each lender’s own rules.
Figures and rates
- All figures are in US dollars (USD).
- Interest rates, APRs and other figures used in examples and default values are illustrative. They are not current offers and may not reflect rates available to you.
- Laws, tax rules, limits and market conditions change. We work to keep content current, but some information may be out of date by the time you read it.
Verify before you decide
Before you borrow, refinance, invest, pay off debt or make any other financial decision, confirm the figures with your lender, card issuer or account provider, and consider speaking with a qualified, licensed professional who can review your full situation. Read official loan disclosures, such as a Loan Estimate or card agreement, carefully.
Tax and legal topics
Where we explain tax or legal concepts, we do so in general terms. Tax and legal outcomes depend on your circumstances and the law where you live. Confirm with a tax professional, an attorney or official government sources before acting.

We try to make our calculators and content accurate and clear, and we test calculators against known examples. Even so, errors can happen and we cannot guarantee that every result or statement is complete, current or correct. Questions about this policy
Are the calculator results exact?
No. They are estimates based on the numbers and assumptions you enter. Real payments can differ because of fees, taxes, insurance, rounding, compounding methods and lender rules.
Is CalculateInterestPay a lender or financial adviser?
No. We are an educational website. We do not lend money, arrange loans or give personal financial, tax or legal advice.
Are the interest rates on the site current offers?
No. Rates used in examples and default calculator values are illustrative only. Check current rates directly with lenders, because offers depend on your credit, location and the market.
Can I use the results for my taxes?
Use them as a starting point only. Tax rules change and depend on your situation, so confirm with a tax professional or official IRS guidance.
What should I do if I find a mistake?
Email corrections@calculateinterestpay.com with the page address and what looks wrong. We review every report and correct confirmed errors.
