Calculator privacy and security start with collecting as little as possible. There are no accounts, your calculator inputs stay on your device, and your display settings live in your own browser. Nothing optional loads until you consent, and a Global Privacy Control signal is honored automatically. What protects you when you use the site?
No accounts
There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no profile, password or saved history for you.
Browser-only preferences
Theme, palette, accessibility settings, cookie choices and recent searches are stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
Consent before anything optional
Analytics and advertising stay off unless you opt in. Today, neither is running at all.
Encrypted connections
Every page is served over HTTPS, so what passes between your browser and the site is encrypted in transit.
Global Privacy Control honored
If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out and apply the essential-only setting automatically.

What does the embedded calculator do?
Each calculator runs in an embedded frame served from our calculator app. It takes the values you type, works out the results and shows them on the page. It may keep your inputs in that frame's browser storage so they survive a reload.
The frame does not ask for your name or contact details, and it does not send your inputs to us. If the frame ever offers an optional way to share your results with a business, it will say so clearly before anything is sent.

Where are the full privacy details?
This page is a summary. The privacy policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and your rights. The cookie policy lists every cookie and browser storage item, what it does and how long it lasts, and lets you change your choices. The data request page explains how to ask for a copy of, or deletion of, information we hold about you.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If you think you have found a security problem, email the privacy address on our contact page and we will reply within 2 business days.

Do you sell or share my personal information?
We do not sell personal information. Because there are no accounts and calculator inputs stay on your device, we hold very little about you to begin with. The privacy policy names the kinds of service providers that process data on our behalf, such as hosting and email, and what they handle.
What is Global Privacy Control and do you honor it?
Global Privacy Control, or GPC, is a browser setting that tells websites you do not want your data sold or shared. Yes, we honor it. When your browser sends the signal, we apply the essential-only setting automatically, so analytics and advertising stay off without you having to click anything.
Are there analytics or ad trackers on the site right now?
No. Analytics and ads are both switched off. If either is enabled in future, it will only load after you give consent in the cookie banner, and the cookie policy will be updated to list it before it runs. You can review or change your cookie choices at any time from the link in the site footer.
How do I delete the settings the site saved in my browser?
Clear site data for this website in your browser settings. That removes your theme, palette, accessibility settings, cookie choices, recent searches and saved calculator inputs. We cannot see or delete this data for you, because it never leaves your device.
Is the contact form secure?
The form is sent over HTTPS and protected against spam with a short-lived bot check, validation and abuse limits. Your message goes to our inbox so we can reply, and access is limited to people who need it. Please do not include account numbers or other sensitive financial details.
Can businesses that embed your calculators see my data?
A business that puts our calculators on its own website runs its own site and has its own privacy policy. If that business adds an optional form asking for your contact details, the information you submit goes to that business. Calculators on calculateinterestpay.com itself do not collect contact details.
How do I request a copy of the data you hold about me?
Follow the steps on our data request page or email the privacy address on the contact page. In most cases the only information we hold is a message you sent us. We reply within 2 business days and will explain what we found.
Why does the calculator remember my numbers after a reload?
The calculator frame saves your inputs in browser storage on your own device so a refresh does not wipe your work. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing site data for this website in your browser removes the saved inputs. On a shared computer, clear site data when you finish if you would rather not leave your numbers behind.
