CalculateInterestPay changelog and release notes

The CalculateInterestPay changelog records what has been added or changed on the site, newest first. It covers new calculators and guides, changes to formulas or defaults, and corrections to calculation errors, so you can see when and why a result may have shifted. The first entry below is our public launch on October 17, 2026. Smaller wording fixes are not listed individually.

What launched on CalculateInterestPay?

The site launched on October 17, 2026, with 65 free calculators across five topics, 10 in-depth guides, a 42-term glossary, an FAQ hub, a display and accessibility panel, and command search that opens with Ctrl+K, ⌘K or the / key. Every page launched with its sources and dates.

What will future entries cover?

New calculators and guides, changes to any formula, default or assumption, and corrections to confirmed calculation errors will each get an entry with the date. Corrections will also be noted on the page they affect.

Routine wording edits, typo fixes and design tweaks that do not change a result are not listed individually, but they still update the page's "updated" date.

Frequently asked questions

How often is the changelog updated?

Whenever something meaningful changes: a new calculator or guide, a change to a formula or default, or a correction to a confirmed calculation error. There is no fixed schedule. Each entry is dated so you can match it to a result you saw earlier.

Will I be told if a calculator's results change?

Yes. Any change to a formula, default or assumption that alters results is listed here with the date, and the calculator page's updated date changes too. If the change corrects an error, the page includes a short correction note. That way you can tell whether a different result comes from your inputs or from our update.

Why isn't every small edit listed?

Typo fixes, wording improvements and design adjustments that do not change any result would bury the entries that matter. Those edits still update the page's date, and anything that changes a number or a rule is always logged. This keeps the changelog short enough to read in a minute.

What does command search do?

It opens a search box from any page when you press Ctrl+K, ⌘K or the / key. It searches all calculators, guides and glossary terms at once and remembers your recent searches on your own device only. Use the arrow keys and Enter to open a result without touching the mouse.

What is the display and accessibility panel?

A panel in the site header that lets you choose light, dark or system theme, one of three color palettes, larger text, higher contrast, reduced motion and highlighted links. Your choices are saved in your browser and never sent to us.

Can I get notified about new entries?

The occasional newsletter will mention new calculators and guides, at most once a month. You can also check this page, which lists the newest entries first. We do not offer push notifications or text alerts, and we do not need any personal details for you to follow along. The newest entry always sits at the top of this page.

Where can I suggest a feature for a future release?

Email the general address on our contact page and describe what you were trying to do. We read every suggestion and use reader questions to decide what to build next, though we cannot promise to build each one. Explaining the problem you hit is often more useful to us than describing a specific solution.

Does the changelog list corrections to articles too?

Corrections to calculation errors are always listed here. Substantive corrections to guide text, such as a wrong rule or figure, are noted on the guide itself and, where they affect results, listed here as well. Each entry gives the date and a short description of what changed.
